As long as you cancel your account in good time, you won’t get charged. You can find details of these different packages further down this page.Īt this stage, you'll be asked to enter your credit card details but don’t be scared.
You'll have the choice of a free trial for Lightroom only, a free trial for the Photography Plan (featuring Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop), or a free trial of the Creative Cloud as a whole. Once you have an Adobe ID, head to this page (opens in new tab) and follow the instructions. Go to the Adobe Account Page (opens in new tab), click 'Create Account' and follow the instructions. To take out a free trial to Lightroom, you’ll first need an Adobe ID, if you don’t have one already. You’d also be putting your devices and data at risk from viruses and malware, and when we're talking about large numbers of images, whether they're your own or your clients', that's really a dumb risk to take. You might find a pirated version on the web of course, but that would mean breaking the law.
As mentioned in Chapter 14, you install the Develop module presets the same way.A free trial is the only legitimate way to download Lightroom for free. Choose Import, then navigate to the downloaded templates, select them all, and click the Import button.

Just a quick reminder: These downloadable photos made available to you here are licensed for your personal use only in practicing the techniques shown in the book. Thanks so much for buying the book and giving me the opportunity to show you some of the really cool things about Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. I hope you enjoy following along with these images, watching the videos, and using the templates and presets.
You don’t need to download any photos-just use any ones you have handy. The same goes for Chapter 3 on using video (use any video you’ve shot with your DSLR camera), for Chapter 10 on creating photo books, for Chapter 14 on creating Print layouts and using the Develop presets (be sure to download the templates and presets found here, though), and for the bonus chapter included here on using the Web module. Also, Chapters 1, 2, 4, 9, 12, and 13 are about importing, organizing your photos, customizing the Library module, exporting, making slide shows, and printing, so it doesn’t matter one little bit which photos you use (but, I did include the files for the frames used in Chapters 12 and 13). Some images are not available for download due to permissions issues. Now, while the shots here are downloadable, the whole idea behind this book is that you use these techniques on your own photos, but until you do, you can practice on these. I’ve also included the plug-in links mentioned in Chapter 10. These videos are in Adobe Flash, and require the Adobe Flash Player to view them. Welcome to the book’s download page, where you can download some of the same photos I used in the book and follow right along with the projects, as well as download the Print module templates and Develop module presets mentioned in Chapter 14, and watch the book’s companion videos.įirst, watch the short video I made explaining the “Seven (or So) Things You’ll Wish You Had Known Before Reading This Book.” You’ll also find videos on how to make transparent graphics for your Identity Plates, as well as how to make Identity Plates for your print layouts.
